This year, as we begin to celebrate our 30th anniversary as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, I’m reminded just how far The Music Hall has come over the last three decades. When I saw my first show at our Historic Theater, it looked a lot different than it does today. The lower lobby didn’t exist, the inside of the theater was painted paper white and peeling off on patrons, our chandelier was a trash can lid with floodlights in it, and our marquee was made of particle board.
