Cheers Peter Egelston and Joanne Francis to your next chapter

Many people know that we have proudly poured Smuttynose at both theaters for almost two decades, but that is just the start of our relationship. You’ve stepped up each and every time we needed a friend. Joanne, you’ve been a member of our board, helping us revitalize the Historic Theater. Together you have both supported our mission, sponsored parties, and advocated for us. It wouldn’t be a Music Hall playbill without the Portsmouth Brewery ad on the back, an ad we look forward to seeing each year. Most importantly, you’ve been our cheerleader and a true community partner through the good times and the not so great times. Your influence is seen in so much of what we do and we are better for having you in our corner. We are just one of the many organizations that have flourished because of you.

Peter and Joanne, collaborating with you is a Master Class in community engagement and it has been a pleasure for all of us. While we’re sad to see this chapter ending for you, we join the chorus of voices that are excited to see what you’ll do next. We’ll be right there with you to be your cheerleaders when you do it.
