Creating a Healthy Community
While a popular festival is a lot to celebrate, Goodwin is also celebrating a merger with another community partner of ours, Families First Health and Support Center, which took place in January. The two organizations are now under the legal name of Greater Seacoast Community Health and will continue to operate with their current names.
“We love our long term partnerships with Goodwin and Families First,” said Music Hall Director of Institutional Advancement, Gail Van Hoy Carolan. “Their mission to make first class healthcare accessible to everyone complements our mission to ensure that the best of arts and culture is accessible to all. Welcoming Goodwin back to our Historic Theater for their biggest fundraiser of the year is a real honor for us.”
“Over the last two decades we have been fortunate to partner with The Music Hall to blend arts and the environment while presenting a healthy lifestyle message to our audience. We’ve introduced our organization and mission to thousands of people over the last 23 year. All proceeds raised help Goodwin and Families First provide quality medical, dental, prenatal, and behavioral health care to uninsured and under-insured residents of the seacoast. The merger allows us to help shape the future of health care delivery in our region and to increase access to much needed care for our patients,” said Greater Seacoast Community Health CEO Janet Laatsch.
