Cure your winter blues with these hot January shows

Kicking off our Historic Theater shows is the Hot Sardines! I love their story, the two lead singers met when they each answered a craigslist ad for a Jazz jam session, and now they are taking the Jazz scene by storm. You can find them at the Newport Jazz Fest, selling out the Bowery Ballroom, and right here at our Historic Theater on January 18.

If you love a good throwback, make sure to get your tickets for Postmodern Jukebox. They take the songs we all love, and reimagine them in the style of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s. It’s fun, there’s tap dancing, and you won’t want to be the person who misses this show.

Did you love the movie Me Before You? Are you looking for a light fun read to chase away the winter blues? Get your tickets to see best selling author Jojo Moyes. She’ll be joining us the day after her new much hyped about book is released. Your ticket will get you in to hear her do a reading from the new book and see Virgina Prescott from Word of Mouth interview her. Also, you’ll be invited backstage to have your book autographed.

Is your New Year Resolution to be more adventurous? Get tickets to see Benjamin Clementine. Trust me, this is a show that will have everyone talking. He’s the darling of NPR Music, he’s selling out Carnegie Hall, and he’s simply amazing. Get your tickets, and get ready for a show that will knock your socks off.
