What I think is really special about The Music Hall is the diversity of our programming. In any given month, you may find a breadth of genres and acts in the Historic Theater, and October is no exception. This month alone you can discover country, classical, electronic, reggae, alt. rock and more.
At the top of the month, Dwight Yoakam returns to town with even more credits to his name. His ten-gallon hat will be appearing on stage on Oct. 2 and he should be bringing more of his much-loved country and bluegrass hits. If you missed him when he was here a few years back, don’t miss him again!
On October 10, join us in welcoming electronic music duo Thievery Corporation in the Historic Theater. This act combines musical styles from around the world, moving from space rock and hip-hop to Indian trip-hop and French torch songs.
The queen of classical music, Renée Fleming will bring an awe-inspiring program to our theater, including songs from movies Bel Canto; Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; and The Shape of Water; and composers Schubert, Leoncavallo, Puccini, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Sondheim. Don’t miss this American treasure!
The Lone Bellow brings us a special performance with the three performers surrounding one mic. Together, they try out new arrangements, debut new songs, and take requests. They bring Naia Izumi with them, who won NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest, for an amazing show!
There are still tickets available for these shows and more. Check out our calendar for what’s coming up and try something new. See you soon!
