Filling the Hall with local elementary students

The School Day’s Series, now in it’s 22nd year, is the longest running series here at TMH and this year we are so proud to announce that we are launching a scholarship program. With the help of D.F. Richard Energy and the National Endowment for the Arts, we are providing two Title One elementary schools with tickets, bus transportation, and boxed lunches. We strive to be affordable and accessible and this partnership helps us introduce 600 local children to live theater that might not have had the opportunity to do so.

As an organization we are so aware that TMH wouldn’t exist without help from this community. If not for our friends, neighbors, patrons and members, the Historic Theater would be condos. It’s now our pleasure to be able to give back to the community that has given so much to us. From Fill The Hall to our new School Day’s Series Scholarship program we are continuously working to create new partnerships and programs that keep Portsmouth vibrant and keep The Music Hall accessible to everyone.
