Jake Bugg is a young artist hailing from the U.K. I first saw him perform as an 18 year old in front of a crowd of hundreds. There was little he couldn’t convey with his voice and guitar. He cites Johnny Cash as a major influence on his songwriting.

The Weather Station’s brand new self-titled release is stellar. Singer Tarmara Lindeman’s voice is remniscent of a young Joni Mitchell. We loved her when she was in town playing the Music Hall Loft and it’s exciting to see how much her songwriting has evolved.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real have worked closely with the enormously talented Neil Young as his backing band. Lukas’ voice bares a striking resemblance to that of his iconic father- Willie Nelson. On his latest self-titled release he invites Lucius and Lady Gaga to perform backing vocals on several of his songs. The result is a beautiful work of art.
