Gathering Strength
It’s our fifth year partnering with Gather for the Fill the Hall Food Drive on Saturday, June 22. The concept is simple, bring a bag of food to the Historic Theater anytime between 9am and 3pm, and put it on a seat. The impact is measurable. Last year, with your help, we collected nearly 12,000 pounds of food. Once that food is collected, sorted, and boxed up it is brought to Gather to support their Summer Meals 4 Kids. This program helps to fill the gap for 500 children who live in the Seacoast when subsidized school lunches aren’t available in the summer. Gather provides 10 meals a week for the 11 weeks of summer for all 500 kids. This year the need has grown by an additional 100 kids. They need those meals and we need your help to Fill the Hall.
Join us on Saturday, June 22 to Fill the Hall with food to help the people in our community who need it most. Can’t make it on the day? You can give a monetary gift and we’ll fill a seat for you.
