Introducing Rosie!
My name is Rosie Correll and I am a recent college graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in journalism. I was born and raised here in Portsmouth, NH and I have a golden retriever named Lily. Back in 2018, I started a blog called “A Girl with a Rare Disorder” on Wordpress about my life living with a chronic physical disability. I have always been an avid reader and writer and I love to write poetry, shop, and hang out downtown Portsmouth. I am also a self-proclaimed Friends expert and coffee enthusiast.
Social justice and advocating for people and communities has always been a huge passion of mine and I hope to bring that into my career, give people a voice who don’t have one. I am also starting a clothing business with my friend from Muscular Dystrophy Camp where we are creating clothes for people with disabilities. I will be doing the marketing and writing and she makes the clothes (more to come soon)!
Every year around the holidays, my mom and I attend The Music Hall’s Christmas show and we make a whole night of it with dinner and drinks! I am so excited to be joining The Music Hall team and to see how this wonderful community organization is put together!
