If you love our literary series, you’re going to want to check out our Book Club. This club meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at Portwalk Place and is open to members at the Contributor level and above. The evening starts with socializing and leads into a lively moderated conversation, diving deep into the books everyone is talking about.
Are you a film buff with a passion for movie knowledge? Do you like to see iconic movies? If you answered “yes” to either of those questions, then our Film Club is for you! Every six months, we focus on a particular outstanding director, genre, or artist. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, we show a film and follow it up with a participatory discussion. The current theme is Know The Score! with Chris Curtis, The Music Hall Film and Outreach Manager, as our host and guide as we explore the music in films.
The Music Hall Director’s Club invites members at the Patron level and above to join us as we discover different venues on the Seacoast. Enjoy the best restaurants, explore new buildings, and see parts of the Seacoast you might not otherwise experience. A purely social club, it’s a great way to connect with other members and get to know the staff here at The Music Hall.
Ever wonder why there is so much fuss around the Opera? Check out our Opera Connections before select Met Broadcasts. Our host, cultural historian/composer Dennis Neil Kleinman, provides engaging, jargon-free introductions to the upcoming show. So if you don’t get opera, or if you want to get it on a whole new level…get connected!
Come join us at any or all of these fun clubs and meet, mingle, and relate to your Music Hall community in a new engaging way!
