Kick Off Your Summer!
Kick off the summer with great bands, comedy, an outdoor event, and a community-driven food drive!
First up is Concert in the Lot with the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band, Sweet Crude, and Jumbo Circus Peanuts. Dance and listen while snacking on New Orleans-inspired foods from TACOCAT, Ore Nell’s, La Maison Navarre, Wrap Shack and Jolie Rogers Traveling Raw Bar. Beer and wine will also be available to purchase if you’re thirsty. Bring Dad, the whole family, or your best buds to this party in the parking lot!
Next up, The Milk Carton Kids swing into town with their new project, which for the first time ever includes a full band! Their two-part harmonies are beautiful and haunting, now with a bigger sonic palette.
Gregory Porter visits on June 25 fresh from electrifying audiences and headling the New Orleans Jazz Festival. The two-time Grammy Award winner is not to be missed! Join us as Gregory pays tribute to one of his heroes, Nat King Cole.
Lady Dynamite comedian Maria Bamford returns to the big hall with her satirical stand-up on June 28. She’s been busy; Maris has been creating and starring in her own specials (Maria Bamford, Old Baby) and appeared in The Comedians of Comedy, BoJack Horseman, Adventure Time, and Arrested Development.
And don’t forget to donate a bag of food on June 22 for our annual Fill The Hall Food Drive. The food drive benefits Gather and their Summer Meals 4 Kids program. This program helps to fill the gap when subsidized school meals are not available during the summer. They provide 10 meals a week for over 500 Seacoast children for the 11 weeks of summer. We need tons and tons of food to do this and we want to fill every seat in the Historic Theater!
We hope to see you donating, dancing, and listening with us soon!
