Live Under The Arch: Acts coming in July!
Live Under The Arch (LUTA) continues with more local and regional artists on Chestnut Street! LUTA is a big hit with audience members as well as artists and July is packed with talented acts such as Howard, Lydia Luce, Matt Nakoa, Peter Mulvey, and The Rad Trads. Tables for two, four, and six people are spread out along the street perfectly placed for both social distancing and prime viewing of the stage.
Tomorrow, July 2, join us for Howard, one of New York City’s most fascinating new acts who blends warm chamber pop with electronic pop for their one-of-a-kind sound. Their music takes cues and flavors from the Everly Brothers and Radiohead, which swirl together for something that is uniquely their own.
A virtuoso from the ripe age of six, Lydia Luce has played alongside Eminem, Dolly Parton, Rob Stewart and Willie Nelson. Luce’s unique sound combines contemporary classical, roots, indie, rock and jazz. Come see for yourself on Tuesday, July 6.
Returning to our stage after a great performance at this winter’s Stage Door Cabaret, Matt Nakoa will be live on Chestnut Street on Friday, July 16. He is an internationally touring singer/songwriter who appeared recently at the White House and regularly performs with folk icon Tom Rush.
With 18 albums, one book, one TEDx Talk and over 5,000 shows to his name, Peter Mulvey has not stopped for as long as he can remember. Mulvey has made a name for himself in the folk/rock scene since the 1990s with his warm, powerful timber and impactful guitar notes. His next stop is here on Sunday, July 18!
The Rad Trads is a Brooklyn-based five-man band known for their eclectic take on rock n’ roll. They mix punk-rock energy with soul that produces a lighthearted yet sincere sound. Their latest release, See You Again morphs folk with a hard edge pop. See for yourself on Thursday, July 22!
