May is Membership Month!
May is Membership Month! This year, the committed generosity of our members and supporters has kept us afloat and thanks to you, we’re in the fortunate position to reopen safely and continue serving the Seacoast community. And while we’re incredibly thankful for our members, I can hear some of you asking, “What is membership at The Music Hall, and why is there a whole month dedicated to it?” Luckily for you, I have all the answers!
- Membership is a program that helps support our theater. The Music Hall is a community-supported 501(c)3 nonprofit, and the support of our members makes it possible for us to offer the best in live performances, movies, and educational programs year-round.
- Ticket sales have never fully covered the costs of The Music Hall’s operations, and support from our Music Hall family has always been essential. Membership dollars help cover operating costs and artist fees, as well as allow us to give back to our community through our outreach programs, like the Fill the Hall food drive and our School Days Series scholarship program.
- We are proud to have over 3,000 members who hail from all over the Seacoast region, New England, and beyond! Many of our members also donate their time by volunteering.
- Beat the line and get your tickets first! Most shows go on sale to members first, allowing you to get the best seats before the general public.
- A membership at The Music Hall gets you discounts all around town at shops, hotels, and restaurants.
- And there are ticket discounts too! All members get discounts on select events, and members at the Advocate level and above get a 10% discount on most live shows.
- Meet new people in new locales! Being a member gives you access to our clubs, where you and like-minded arts supporters can meet, socialize, and dine. Check out our Book Club and Director’s Club!
- Every year, we take the month of May to celebrate and thank our dedicated donor base. We couldn’t do what we do without you, and this is our way of saying “Thank you!”
- We’re lucky to have a generous donor who will match your membership in the month of May, so please consider joining, renewing, or upgrading.
- We want to put your name in lights! If you join, upgrade, or renew your membership this month, we’ll enter your name into a drawing to have your name featured on our Historic Theater marquee. We’ll select one lucky winner each week, and one member will also receive a Private Film Screening with up to 20 of their bubble-mates.
We’re incredibly grateful for your loyal support, and we’re excited to celebrate our fabulous members this month. Tax-deductible memberships start at $50 per household, and last for a full calendar year.
