Partnerships Bring Possibilities

In 2014, The Music Hall and the Ogunquit Playhouse came together with the shared vision of building closer connections between our communities and deepening the cultural offerings for Seacoast audiences. This was realized first in July with the presentation of our collaboration’s inaugural show Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story, and strengthened in December with the critically acclaimed Ogunquit Playhouse Production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins at our Historic Theater.

Joining us in support of this unique partnership were Ogunquit Playhouse at The Music Hall Series Sponsor Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, a mutual savings bank with locations on the North Shore and downtown Portsmouth, and Mary Poppins Series Sponsor Pickwick’s Mercantile, a Victorian era shop in Portsmouth featuring modern and classic merchandise.

During this month of corporate appreciation, I want to extend our thanks once again to both of these corporate partners for helping us delight and surprise audiences of all ages with these productions. Really, who can forget when Bert walked the proscenium during Mary Poppins, leaving the audience breathless?
