Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra Swings into a New Season
Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra kicks off another spellbinding season on Sunday, November 3! Our resident orchestra, the PSO will present three Mainstage concerts in the Historic Theater over the course of the year. Including the works of Beethoven, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Wagner, and more, each concert features a well-curated program designed to delight. And don’t forget to come to “Inside the Music,” a free pre-concert discussion that provides an entertaining insight into the afternoon’s program.
On December 31, swing into 2020 with PSO and bubbly! The New Year is fast approaching and we’re looking forward to ringing it in with you and our resident orchestra. This special Champagne Toast will really pop and sweep you off your feet in a luscious display of sparkle and glamour.
Before the season wraps up in May, PSO joins in the School Days Series (SDS) fun with Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program for “The Orchestra Moves.” This SDS show explores how music moves, both inside and out, with what we see and how we feel. Through the Link Up repertoire, hands-on activities, and interactive performance with the PSO, kids will discover how the orchestra moves.
Be sure to catch a Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra performance this season and ring in the New Year with us!
