Savings and discounts, oh my!

Do you have a person who is impossible to shop for in your life? Head over to any of the Pickwick stores. The perfectly curated stores have something for everyone. Lady Pickwicks, my personal favorite, is a perfectly lovely store full of delightful candles, beautiful clothing, and accessories that you never knew you needed but will never be able to live without. Deadwicks, the magical shop, is full of potions, spells, and curiosities that are sure to delight all ages. Over at Strawbery Banke you can pick up a bottle of genuine New Hampshire Maple Syrup or an adorable puzzle or plush toy. I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you to stop at the original Pickwick’s Mercantile, check out the penny candy counter, browse the vintage book collections, and trust me, you’ll want to pick up at least one of their preloved flannel shirts.

I regularly use my discount at Gus and Ruby. Some of my favorite items on my desk were picked up there and getting 10% off makes it much easier to justify my black cat tape dispenser. They also have a great selection of calendars, greeting cards, wrapping paper (we use the fun whimsical designs as lampshades over our florescent lights above our desk), and don’t forget to check out their iPhone cases. The store is fun, bright, and full of adorable items that you can’t pass up, trust me…

When all this shopping makes you tired take some time to pamper yourself and make an appointment at the Portsmouth Spa where they offer 15% off any massage. If you’re more of a do it yourself type of person, pop over to JaneGee where you can have your choice of bath salts, lotion, and essential oils all for 10% off.

Make sure to refuel from all the shopping and pampering and take advantage of all of the restaurants that offer special discounts like Rudi’s and the Library who both offer 10% off food purchases. If you’re looking for a casual bite to eat take advantage of your 10% off at the Portsmouth Brewery or the Friendly Toast both of whom serve food late on the weekends, perfect for post show snacks.

If you follow The Music Hall on Instagram, you’ll know that we are all a little obsessed with milkshakes, thankfully for us, we can use our membership card to get a 10% discount on them at Kilwins. While we all have different flavors that we pick, we’re all big fans of the fact that you can mix two flavors to create the perfect treat. In the summer I’m all about the strawberry ice cream mixed with the peach yogurt, but don’t count out the chocolate peanut butter flavor.
