See the most buzzed about movies at The Music Hall
Let’s start with last weeks showing of Lady Bird. Greta Gerwig’s directorial debut, is topping all of the Best of lists and landing nomination after nomination. It’s a coming of age story that appeals to multiple generations, a mother/ daughter story that everyone can identify with. It’s no wonder that it has an unheard of 99% Rotten Tomato rating.
This week brings us the critically acclaimed The Florida Project. Set on a stretch of highway just outside the imagined utopia of Disney World, this immersive movie follows another mother/daughter duo as they struggle with the harsh reality of living in the margins and find joy in everyday life. It also stars Willem Dafoe.
In February, mark you calendar to see Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. It won three Golden Globes, Best Actress – Drama, Best Motion Picture – Drama, and Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, and you’ll get your chance to see why right here at our Historic Theater.
