Allison Crosscup: Last year was our first season partnering together on The Ogunquit Playhouse at The Music Hall series, which featured Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. That production created so many wonderful memories and is one that people are still talking about. Are there moments from last year’s production that were particularly memorable for you?
Jim Jalbert: White Christmas was spectacular, my favorite part of the show was how it all came together in the end!
AC: We are all excited to be bringing Broadway to Portsmouth once again this holiday season with the presentation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. What are you looking forward to most from the run of this year’s show?
JJ: We are excited to bring Broadway to the Seacoast once again this year. I look forward to seeing the hard work of both the Ogunquit Playhouse and The Music Hall come together to produce this unforgettable Disney classic. It’s sure to be another top notch show that will continue to create lasting holiday memories for those in the Seacoast community.
AC: Among the holiday traditions we are continuing this year is our video challenge. You and your brother Walter put together such a fantastic video for the White Christmas challenge. Can we expect a repeat performance and are there any details you can share about what you may be planning?
JJ: It’s top secret!!
AC: In the last year I know you have added double decker coaches to your fleet and have undergone a major redesign of your website. Can you tell us a little more about what’s new at C&J
JJ: We recently launched our new website in October. We are very excited about this upgrade, it gives our riders a whole new buying experience. Our new site allows passengers to build their trip itinerary and purchase their tickets on any device. We understand the importance of technology in transportation and we will continue to make other advancements in 2017.
AC: C&J has long been a supporter of arts & culture across the Seacoast. Why is supporting the arts, and organizations like The Music Hall, an important part of your business?
JJ: Giving back to the community is a vital part of our organization. This community has supported us now for almost 50 years and we give as much as we can to the community who has made us what we are today. We understand the huge role the Arts play in the Seacoast community and want to encourage the growth and expansion of The Music Hall and other organizations.
