Sponsor Spotlight: C&J Bus Lines
Jennifer Minicucci: You were involved the first time The Ogunquit Playhouse at The Music Hall series brought Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, The Musical to Portsmouth, back in 2015; I believe you declared it to be “spectacular”. What are you most looking forward to about this year’s production?
Jim Jalbert: We are very excited for this year’s production of White Christmas; it’s my all-time favorite Christmas movie, and a wonderful holiday tradition. We are looking forward to seeing Sally Struthers take the stage and to see what The Music Hall and Ogunquit Playhouse have up their sleeves for this year’s performance.
JM: I know you recently expanded your New York City service to include Dover. Can you tell us a little more about what’s new at C&J?
JJ: Yes, in October we launched the expansion of our popular New York City Service with the addition of service to Dover, NH. This new location at our terminal in Dover operates schedules daily between New York City, seven days a week.
In 2018, C&J will be celebrating its 50th year. We have built our company on offering top-notch customer service and providing reliable, consistent transportation. We are always looking to improve and to expand the C&J experience for all our riders. In 2018 we look forward to some technological advances for the company…mobile ticket scanning, a new entertainment system for our NYC coaches, and more! Stay tuned!
JM: C&J is very active in the community, supporting arts and cultural events and nonprofit organizations across the region. Why are you so committed to, as you put it, “contributing time, talent, and services to help further the goals of community-minded organizations”?
JJ:Giving back to the community is a vital part of our organization. This community has supported us now for 50 years and we give as much as we can to the community who has made us what we are today. We understand the huge role the arts play in the Seacoast community and want to encourage the growth and expansion of The Music Hall as well as other organizations.
JM: What do you enjoy most about partnering with The Music Hall, and what would you tell other businesses that may be interested in sponsorship?
JJ:The team at The Music Hall is wonderful! We work together as a team to craft and develop a sponsorship that fits our individual needs. We like to be creative with our sponsorship and do some out-of-the-box ideas, and The Music Hall always supports that.
JM: Is there anything else you would like to add about being a Music Hall sponsor?
JJ:The Music Hall is an iconic gem of the City of Portsmouth. We are proud to support one of the cornerstones of this community that brings so much pleasure to so many people, especially families, throughout the year. We can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for The Music Hall!
