Sponsor Spotlight: Portwalk Place
Allison Crosscup: In the last year your property has really expanded, with new restaurants, businesses, and accommodations. Can you tell us a little about what’s new at Portwalk Place?
Portwalk Place: Sure! Over the past few years, we have had the great pleasure to introduce an amazing array of restaurants, with Brgr Bar and The British Beer Company starting the trend early on. We kept it going with Row 34 and the much anticipated, Green Elephant Bistro, which will open soon. Our new coffee shop Profile Coffee Bar is also a newbie and check out those lights! With our resident Chiropractor, Seacoast Sports Injury Clinic, we’ve added a couple of finance offices on Maplewood Ave., Steward Partners and Raymond James. And our newest and most modern hotel to hit the block, The Hampton Inn, Downtown, has its own saltwater pool! More to come at Portwalk Place, hope you can stop by to see!
AC:Why did Portwalk Place choose to partner with The Music Hall as a Season Sponsor?
PP: Because we love what you do for our community. This is our second year sponsoring the Music Hall and the benefits of having such an amazing place in our neighborhood are essential to keeping the arts alive in this city. Not only do our residents appreciate their aggregate memberships, but the shows are fantastic.
AC: As a Season Sponsor, what are some of the benefits you value most from this partnership?
PP: The way you were able to help customize our Sponsorship to suit our residents and our blooming neighborhood. The Music Hall has helped connect our community to music, books and the arts.
AC: What have been some of your favorite shows at The Music Hall?
PP: Straight No Chaser! We’ve all also really enjoyed the comedians, such as Paula Poundstone, Trevor Noah and Juston McKinney, to name a few.
AC: Is there anything else you would like to add about being a Music Hall sponsor?
PP: We’d love to continue, and add to, our partnerships. Things such as the Monthly Book Club Events hosted at Aria, Special Resident only events, and getting to meet all of the other sponsors, all have been a great experience…and we hope to continue these efforts. So THANK YOU!
