The Music Hall’s Best-Kept Secret

Some of the coolest people in town sit in the balcony. When I took my seat during Telluride by the Sea last month, there was David Takis, owner of The District restaurant, across the aisle from me. “My favorite Music Hall seat is the front row of the balcony,” he said, “because I can take in the whole scene below. It’s the best place for people watching.”

During the past year, the balcony has had many safety and esthetic upgrades that make it easier to navigate. Renovations such as new carpeting, LED stair lighting, and safety handrails have created an inviting and user-friendly space. But where’s the bar, you ask? Check. The balcony now has its own full bar (serving everything but draft beer).
