Three summer shows you don’t want to miss
If you LOVED Trey Anastasio’s show last month as much as I did you NEED to get tickets to see The Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Yes, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes has created a new band, no they aren’t a Black Crowes type of band. They are a self proclaimed California Jam band, free flowing fun music that you can’t help but to want to dance to. Trust me, it’s going to be a show that everyone is talking about.
We’ve also added Iconic Chris Isaak to our on sale this month. CHRIS ISAAK. He’s back with a fabulous new album that will remind you why you first became a fan of his in the first place. It’s charming and swave and everything that you would expect from him. I know that I can’t wait to see him perform these songs live.
Lastly, we’ve added Music Hall fan favorite Preservation Hall Jazz Band to our busy summer. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see them live, don’t miss this chance. They are everything that you want from a New Orleans Jazz band. They are lively, fun, and full of characters. They are a lot of fun to listen to on iTunes but that doesn’t hold a candle to what you’re in for when you seem them live.
I’m not sure if I’ll be up and about for our First Saturday, but I hope you all come out to mix and mingle with other members and our staff. Also, if you aren’t yet a member, or know some people who aren’t members, just a friendly reminder, May in Membership Month and if you join or upgrade in May a generous donor will match every donation. Oh! And there are lots of great prizes to win!
