It has been moving to be able to see a tangible impact when our community comes together. This summer, in partnership with Seacoast Family Food Pantry, we gathered over five tons of food to feed children and families in need through our first Fill the Hall event. An event that The Music Hall has committed to doing annually.
At The Music Hall, we know our organization can only thrive in a community that is also thriving, and we work to reinforce this every day with our valued Community Partners.
Each year, we collaborate with more than 60 community organizations to fulfill our joint missions. We
- provide technical support and discounted venue space.
- connect local students from Portsmouth Music and Arts Center, the University of New Hampshire, and Arts in Reach with artists like Reggie Watts, Joshua Bell, and Salman Rushdie.
- facilitate meaningful conversations around relevant issues for our community such as ocean sustainability, the heroin epidemic, innovation, and technology.
- illuminate the imagination of children with over 20 years of School Days Series performances at an affordable price.
These opportunities create unforgettable experiences and have a lasting impact.
