Beyond “Shelter”: Building Dignity for Domestic Violence Survivors

Join us at the Members Club for a Behind the Curtain with Kathy Beebe, Executive Director of HAVEN!

Thoughtful design dignifies survivors by meeting their needs for self-determination, security, and connection. HAVEN is New Hampshire’s largest violence prevention and support services agency, serving Rockingham and Strafford counties. Emergency shelter is among HAVEN’s critical programs since 1979 when only two safe shelters were in place nationwide. Join us to learn about the survivor’s journey to safety in 2025, and the plan to bring Building Dignity design strategies for domestic violence emergency housing to the Seacoast, to empower survivors and their children.
