On April 30, we welcome Cheryl Parker, Brewery Manager at the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire. This tasting will include five beer selections, all made on UNH’s campus as part of their educational brewing program.

ABOUT CHERYL PARKER:
Cheryl Parker is the manager for the University of New Hampshire Brewery, the first licensed brewery to open and operate entirely within a university in the U.S. She also is the course instructor and program manager for the UNH brewing program, which teaches undergraduates and continuing education students about the science of fermentation and professional level production of beer and other alcohol and alcohol removed products. Her journey has taken her from working as a scientist around the world in remote locations to being a brewer at Throwback Brewery in North Hampton, NH before beginning the program at UNH in 2017. Here she has been combining her love of science and creating tasty products in a unique and engaging way for both students who want to enter the industry as well as those wanting to just learn a new skill. Her students have gone onto work everywhere from small craft breweries like Liar’s Bench in Portsmouth to macro breweries like Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH.
