NYC-based stand-up comic and type 1 Diabetes advocate, Nick Callas brings a unique passion to comedy, weaving his vivacity for storytelling, hip-hop, and curiosity to push past limits and boxes in the industry. Redefining concepts of stand-up, Nick infuses rhythmic linguistics and pop-culture flare to his sets. His bold and artistic style has landed him numerous appearances on Wild N’ Out, MTV, screen tests for SNL and working as a creator for digital shorts on Comedy Central and Cracked. Nick has also been involved in film festivals from the east to west coast, and is the cofounder of American High Shorts which has garnered over 1 million on TikTok. Outside of the entertainment business, Nick is a passionate advocate and educator of type 1 Diabetes, an autoimmune disease he has fought and lived with since he was a child. He has worked closely with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and similar health related organizations to spread awareness and empower diabetic youth in knowing that regardless of challenge, they are still capable of doing awesome things. A wide-ranging actor, impressionist, rapper and comic, Nick Callas shows us anything is possible and sometimes breaking and living outside of the rules and boxes is exactly what the world needs most.
