Critical acclaim for Sugar Daddy:
“As theater prepares to rumble into its Tony season full-gear, Morrison’s is the best new show in New York right now: a whip-crack 65 minutes, beautifully told, sharp, moving, and truly laugh-out-loud, doubled-up, head-thrown-back funny.” –The Daily Beast
“A wonderfully intimate offering that stints neither on big laughs, nor on honesty…Sam Morrison’s superb show about his partner’s death proves grief is not beyond comedy’s reach.”-The Guardian
“Quick-witted and charismatic…the grief comes out in laughs. Sam Morrison confronts overwhelming loss with punch lines and panache.”-New York Times
